TESTIMONIES
"Tallulah is an excellent host and tutor. She made all of us feel comfortable sharing our work and curated a space in which we could all contribute to the discussion. Her exercises are thoughtful and probing, and – and this is underrated – playful and fun. I left with drafts of poems that I would never have written had I not attended this workshop. I think that all creative workshops involve a kind of act of faith from everyone involved. The host has to trust that the participants will be open and receptive, and the participants have to trust that the host knows what they’re doing. This latter is a frightful responsibility, and Tallulah carries it seemingly without even trying. You cannot help but trust her with your work." - Workshop attendee
"Tallulah gave a stimulating and engaging workshop for students on writing poetry. She began the session by introducing some of her own writing, which was fresh and contemporary, striking a chord with students and helping them to re-evaluate their concept of poetry, particularly with regard to sound and form as well as meaning. The resources were well thought out and appropriate as well as eye catching and engaging, and Tallulah had an excellent manner with the students, forming a good rapport with them. Students were given the opportunity to write their own poetry, which they all did enthusiastically, and Tallulah circulated, offering feedback and advice in a supportive and appreciative way.
It was an excellent session, which the students took a lot from and enjoyed and we would certainly invite Tallulah to conduct another session." - Caroline Burke, Tytherington High School
